Chinese Fountaingrass is a wide group of ornamental grasses, often planted in various themed gardens. The most valued group are Japanese plant species, also known as feather plantlets – due to their beautiful and original inflorescences. Chinese Fountaingrass prefers a sunny and slightly shaded position. Like other grasses, it does not require much work and is resistant to pests and diseases. It grows best in fertile but well-drained, moderately moist soil. Requires warm, sheltered places. Perfect for planting among stones, rocks or gravel arrangements. It is also suitable for container cultivation on terraces and balconies.
